You think the Miley Cyrus twerking incident of 2013 was difficult to watch, try watching her new “Wrecking Ball” video. We squirmed through the whole thing, watching in horror as she frenches a hammer, makes love to wrecking ball naked and and attempts to emote on camera.
Normally we wouldn’t even waste our time writing about Ms. Cyrus but we happened to stumble across a little gem. A parody of her video by King The Kid, a band out of Bend, Oregon. At first we thought this video was a straight up indictment of Miley’s lack of talent and questionable taste level, but it turns out (according to SameSame.com.au) that the band loved Miley’s new song and did the video as a tribute.
While the video is a funny parody (Weird Al couldn’t have done it better) we actually think the band’s cover of the song is far superior to Miley’s original. Plus it was much more entertaining to watch cute, young men dance around in their briefs and wifebeaters (and, yes, ride a giant ball in the nude). Keep it up boys, Fifi’s got her eye on you.
