Last night our favorite gay nerd, Jim Parsons, took home his third Primetime Emmy for lead actor in a comedy. Parsons plays the the quirky and vexing Sheldon Cooper on “The Big Bang Theory.” According to a NYTimes.com article, Parsons is gay and has been in a relationship for the last 10 years with partner Todd Spiewak. That got us thinking: “Who, of our brothers and sisters in the GLBT community, have won Emmys?” Here’s what we came up with, 15 GLBT actors who’ve taken home the coveted trophy. (Granted, some of these are Daytime Emmys, but who’s counting?)
